Warranty Terms

The PowaKaddy buggies purchased in Australia is covered by a 2 year warranty from date of purchase. The PowaKaddy Accessories are covered by a 1 year warranty from date of purchase. The warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur during normal use. Any breakage, damage or faults caused by the following items are not covered by the warranty.

In respect of the ‘5-Year Pro-Rata Warranty’ on Plug’n’Play™ Lithium Batteries and Drop-In Lithium Batteries, the battery is covered by a 24 month standard warranty from the date of purchase. In addition to this standard warranty,  PowaKaddy now offer a 5-year Pro-Rata limited warranty on the battery. In order to qualify for this 5-Year Pro-Rata limited warranty you must register your warranty. If your product should fail during the 3rd year of ownership PowaKaddy will offer you a brand new replacement for 50% of the listed purchase price of the product. In year 4, a brand new replacement can be purchased for a 30% discount off the listed purchase price and, in year 5, for a 15% discount off the listed purchase price. This transaction must be transacted directly with PowaKaddy.

  1. Abuse or misuse as set out in the operating manual supplied with the buggy including neglect
  2. Accidental damage
  3. Damage or fault caused to buggy by motor vehicle accident
  4. Damage or fault caused by flood, torrential rain, buggy or battery being submerged in water or use of a pressure washer, the ingress of water into any electronics on either buggy or battery.
  5. Operation of the buggy after a defect is known
  6. Damage or fault caused by chemicals, solvents, salt, fire etc.
  7. Installation or use of parts and accessories not supplied or approved by PowaKaddy
  8. Any repairs or alterations to the buggy carried out by anyone not authorised by PowaKaddy
  9. Damage caused to seat and its associated components due to being run aground
  10. Damage to battery or charger caused by overheating due to not being used in a well ventilated area
  11. Damage to battery by leaving discharged for extended periods
  12. Damage or fault due to buggy being stolen
  13. Buggy not being used in country it was purchased
  14. Damage caused by use of buggy outside the intended purpose buggy was designed for
  15. Warranty does not cover PowaKaddy products being used for commercial purposes and or hire.
  16.  Any repairs or replacements made without charge do not carry a new warranty beyond that of the original purchase.

Please note that these warranty conditions are provided in addition to the Australian Consumer Law and do not limit or replace that law.

Provided none of the above applies, costs relating to a Warranty Claim will be paid for by Elkington Golf Pty Ltd (ABN 54 150 453 820).

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement, or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Warranty & Returns

All our products are fully backed by Australian manufacturer warranty and come with automatic guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Law.

We have taken great care with our images to ensure the product is an accurate representation of the product. We cannot guarantee every computer monitor will accurately depict the actual colour of the product. Please order your colour of choice from the relevant listing to ensure you receive the desired colour. Some listings state “Colour Chosen at Random” due to the nature of the supplier and stock.

We understand that you might need to return something to us for several reasons. Please contact us before sending anything back. Items must be returned to us via tracked postage or courier. Without a verifiable tracking number, you accept full risk of the item not reaching us. Returns not received by us will not qualify for replacement or refund.

1. You changed your mind

We offer a 30-day return policy for change of mind. That means if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you are welcome to return it to us at your own cost up to 30 days after you received it for your choice of exchange or refund, excluding original delivery costs and a restocking fee of up to 20% of purchase price. The return must meet the below-mentioned conditions.
All returned items must be in brand-new, unused condition, in their original shipped packaging, and include all parts and accessories. Where returned items are not received by us in brand new condition, we will return them to you once you pay us the cost of redelivery to do so.
Return shipping costs are non‐refundable. For exchanges, we will cover the cost of sending a replacement product back to you.

2. The item arrived damaged or missing parts

All orders leave our warehouse in brand new undamaged condition. If your item arrives damaged or missing parts, we will gladly replace it for you.
All claims for damaged items must be made within 5 business days of receiving your order. It is important that you open your order as soon as you get it, and notify us immediately if there is any damage. This protects you from any claims after this period may not be covered.
Please take photographs of any damage and email the image to us at before sending the item back, as we need to report damage to our insurer, delivery courier and warehouse.

3. The item is faulty

Your purchase automatically comes with protections under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Manufacturer warranty fully backs all our products.
In the unlikely case that your item is faulty on arrival please contact us within 5 days of arrival. Please ensure you follow the care instructions of your item. Manufacturer warranty does not cover ‘wear and tear’. All claims will be assessed on a case by case basis, we’ll make sure the correct process is followed so the issue can be addressed as quickly as possible for you.
Should your product be faulty, please contact us so we can guide you through the correct process for having the fault rectified under the manufacturer warranty? Depending on the manufacturer’s warranty terms and requirements, we will either repair or replace it for you (or if stocks are exhausted, refund you) excluding original delivery costs.
