Launched
to critical acclaim at the Munich Golf Show in early October
last year, PowaKaddy’s new P5 has landed for the start of the
2006 season.
Interest within the trade has been high since the Autumn launch
for PowaKaddy’s new flagship product, which has already been
dubbed a “status symbol of 2006” by Golf International magazine
and billed by SGB as “one of the stars of the Munich show”.
Indeed many consumers pre-booked a P5 without even seeing it!
So
why all the excitement?
Simply put, the P5 delivers the perfect combination of
performance, power, functionality and aesthetics. The P5 is
packed with new features including a new ‘engine’ combined with
a lower centre of gravity and more balanced weight distribution
to produce improved efficiency and stability.
The new P5 is also the most user-friendly and stylish cart on
the market thanks to a new ergonomically designed tactile grip
handle featuring one touch multifunction digital speed control
and an advanced LCD display that will not only indicate speed
but also battery power. Other features, such as the
quick-release front wheel, universal bag grip and key lock bag
stay system are the finishing touches on a truly remarkable
design.
The P5 forms the first stage of a whole raft of new products
that will establish the PowaKaddy ‘P Series’ of golf carts over
the next few years. Plans to launch an ultra lightweight
‘lithium battery’ version of the P5 have been brought forward to
Spring 2006 and there are plans on the drawing board for a
state-of-the art premium product to sit at the top of the
P-Series at sometime in the next 18 months.
